Very Philly Reactions to The Philadelphia Eagles Winning the Super Bowl

Some may call it revenge from two years ago when the Birds faced off against the Chiefs and lost. Some are calling it an underdog to top dog story. Here in the City of Brotherly Love, we call it a victory for a City that has recently been through so much.

Well, they did it. The Philadelphia Eagles won Super Bowl 59 with a final score of 40 to 22 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Some may call it revenge from two years ago when the Birds faced off against the Chiefs and lost. Some are calling it an underdog to top dog story. Here in the City of Brotherly Love, we call it a victory for a City that has recently been through so much. The Birds dominated much of the game, leaving the Chiefs virtually scoreless until the middle of the third quarter.

As for Eagle’s Quarterback Jalen Hurts, who is infamously known for being a man of few words, when being interviewed after being nominated for MVP, he simply said “Couldn’t be here without my teammates.”

Here were some of the best reactions so far to the Bird’s win.

Our beloved Birds posted a photo of Hurts with the caption “The moment he’s been waiting for.”
