“When I think of the future of Black History, the first thing that comes to mind is unity between the Black man and the Black woman.
I decided to artistically display a scenario that represents the coming together of two individuals. To me, the unification of the Black Man and the Black Woman represents true power.
For generations, we've been pitted against one another and households have been divided.
Throughout this series of images, you will see the two join closer and closer together. Black future means true unity and love for one another.”
