“I’m in love with the sweatshirts as Philly Print Works. They are so soft and comfortable. Not to mention they use the names of vital Black heroes as university names. As a Black history nerd, I’m in love.
The South Street Art Mart is one of my favorite places. They have the coolest pieces from the most diverse cohort of artists in Philly. The Adobea Archive is a zine celebrating Black culture and heritage.
The body butters from Marsh+Mane are some of the most luxurious made in the area and make great stocking stuffers.
I am also loving the Philadelphia Candle Company. Each candle is named after a neighborhood in the Philly area and they all smell so good. My favorite scent is queen village.
Lastly, I can’t go a holiday season without shopping at some of my favorite bookstores. At Harriet’s, I’m looking to gift the Zara book series from Row House Publishing.

The Begin! Crewneck (in Sand) is it! All Caps Studio is one of my favorite boutiques in Philly. Their site, social and clothing are sprinkled with uplifting sayings that feel authentic and cool. Evergreen gift!
Another great gift is the Empowerment T-Shirt from Philly Print Works. Philly Print Works just has too many dope tees so it’s hard to choose. I want to shower my friends and family with love, what better way to do that than to have them wear it?
The Hug Hoodie from Lou Badger is such an iconic piece for your favorite person. It’s unique and literally is formed like a hug. How can you not?
But that Dusen Dusen Robe from Yowie! Robes are one of those things I would love to receive as a gift but never buy for myself. This robe is cute and warm, the perfect gift!

PhreshPot in Philadelphia is my go-to for self-care! Their waxes are quick, precise, and leave my skin feeling silky smooth, while their facials are a rejuvenating experience that keeps my skin glowing and refreshed. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable about all things skincare and takes a holistic approach to ensure every service is tailored to your needs. Treat yourself—you deserve it!

I love Nails By Phennah because her press-ons feel like a luxury experience you can take anywhere. Each set is custom-designed with attention to detail that makes them look salon-level flawless. They’re perfect for anyone who loves switching up their style without the hassle of appointments. These nails are a thoughtful and chic gift that always impresses.
There’s something special about the coffee from ES Cafe Lounge—it’s bold, smooth, and made with care, just like their entire vibe. I love their proprietary blends because they turn a simple coffee break into a whole experience. Their passion for quality shines through in every cup, making it the perfect gift for coffee enthusiasts. Pair it with a cozy mug for a gift that feels warm and personal.

One of my favorite black-owned and LGBTQ+ stores in Philadelphia is Trunc. Started by Doretha and Dagmar it’s a haven for eclectic gifting and more. From household to alcohol kits can be found here.
Then there’s Loomen Labs, where you can become your own perfume or candle maker. Owned and operated by Jordan Cook. It’s a self-care haven that combines creativity and the essence of fragrance while giving homage to Philly all in one place.
