10 Cozy Black-Owned Cafes In Philly

Cafes are communal staples. They are where we go for meet-ups over baked goodies, a study session with a smoothie, or quiet time with a good book and a hot drink.

Cafes are communal staples. They are where we go for meet-ups over baked goodies, a study session with a smoothie, or quiet time with a good book and a hot drink. Philly is full of these cozy, comfy places with fresh fruit drinks, baked treats, and of course, a piping hot cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. We are blessed to live and work in a city where many of these cafes are Black-owned and operated.

Whether you’re an on-the-go coffee lover or a sit-and-sip tea drinker, there is a cafe whose vibes and menu match your mood and taste.

As always, support Black and support local. Here are a few to get you started.
