How Tinted is too Tinted? A New Philly Law Decides

Mayor Parker Created a new law for tinted windows and opinions are mixed

Mayor Cherelle Parker's latest legislation in Philadelphia is shedding light on tinted windows, aiming to enhance safety and transparency on the city's streets.

The law, recently passed by city council, sets specific regulations regarding the level of tint permitted on vehicle windows, ensuring that visibility for both drivers and law enforcement is maintained.

With concerns over the potential misuse of heavily tinted windows obstructing views and impeding communication during traffic stops, this measure seeks to strike a balance between privacy and public safety.

Enforcement of the new regulations is expected to promote clearer visibility on Philadelphia's roads, contributing to overall road safety and law enforcement effectiveness. Philadelphia’s aren't very happy with the law that is now in place. The law states that windows can not be darker than 70% percent VLT.
