StoryCorps Brightness in Black Launch

Join us for StoryCorps’ launch of Brightness in Black, a celebration, a truth-telling, a showcase of the richness and complexity of Black life in America. We’re kicking it off in Philadelphia at The Kimmel Center, parked in front recording stories and celebrating inside Commonwealth Plaza.

The event will be hosted by Cherri Gregg, featuring special performances from Kai Davis, Seraiah Nicole, Chill Moody, and include a panel “The Brighter Side of Black” moderated by Marc Lamont Hill with Gregory Walker, Jos Duncan-Asé, and Jeannine Cook. With DJ Reezey spinning music all day.
