Colors of Liberation Workshop

Participants will learn the history of the African Liberation flag and how the flag and its colors have been used to symbolize liberation.

Join us for this all-ages workshop to learn the history of the African Liberation flag and how the flag and its colors of red, black and green have been used to symbolize liberation and resistance.

We will also look at how these colors have a connection with other countries such as Palestine and other African nations that have incorporated these colors in their flags and what they represent as they gained independence from their colonizers.

Participants will be able to create artwork, patterns and designs specifically using the colors red, black and green. All supplies included.
