Rylee is a newbie in the world of professional journalism, but she gained over five years of reporting experience as a student-journalist. She is a two-time alumna of The Pennsylvania State University, having earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Journalism and African American Studies in Fall 2022, followed by a Master's in Public Policy in August 2024. The blend of her studies has drummed up a unique passion inside of her — she wants to change the world by creating stories that impact, uplift and inform. As a contributor with The Philly Download, she is committed to highlighting truths and showcasing angles that are often overlooked.
